We are renting our lower-level unfurnished suite in our home. It has one bedroom, one bathroom (with shower/tub), a large living area, which includes kitchen, living room and dining room, shared use of a storage room, and your own in-suite laundry. It also includes one parking space on site, and plenty of street parking for guests. As an added bonus, our insanely steep driveway will give you either new driving skills, as you master backing down a death-defying slant OR buns of steel from climbing its surprisingly vertical face, all at no extra charge!
Rent also includes your heat/hydro and your water/sewer/garbage, as well as two non-partying upstairs neighbours (us!) who try not to be jerks! It does not include phone/cable/internet.
Our suite is available July 1st. If you're interested, please send us an email with a short description of yourself, including what you do for work and/or study and why you're looking for housing now (ie: end of a previous tenancy, just moved to town, just broke up and need to get away from that conniving jerkface etc etc.)
Tenancy will be a one-year lease, followed by month to month thereafter.
We will invite qualified guests to view the home on one of two days during our semi-open open-house.
Note the following:
- once a month inspections until we're comfortable with how your suite is being maintained
- no pets
- no smoking
- no recreational drugs of any kind
